MAPS - A user can view the current location of one or more vehicles in real-time or select a specific date to view the route of a vehicle. Also, the user has the ability to 'look up' an address and view their nearest vehicles. The map view provides vital information on each of the vehicle such as its speed and heading plus displays alert messages that a vehicle is exceeding the maximum speed or a custom sensor has been activated such as a PTO switch or refrigerator unit is out of service. REPORTS - WebAVL provides three reports: Fleet Summary, Trip Report and Detail Report. The Fleet Summary report can be configured to automatically send a daily, weekly or monthly report, by e-mail, of the fleet's activity such as the total number of miles traveled, the maximum speed reached and the total number of miles a vehicle traveled. A Trip Report shows information about each vehicle's route from point A to point B on any given day. The report offers the trip's start & ending time, the duration when the vehicle is moving, idle and parked. In addition, the report provides the total miles of each trip and the maximum speed reached during the trip. A Detail Report is a expanded view of a specific trip record, which includes the information provided in each location packet received from the AVL device in the vehicle. Each update includes a text street address. HARDWARE - The AVL device is called a RTU-200/GPS that operates on the DigiGate Wireless network. The RTU-200/GPS is small VHF data radio with an integrated GPS receiver module along with other available features to meet the customer's requirements.
COVERAGE -
